Money for the World, None for our Needy

This is just a short Diary based on the recent pledge of $1,000,000,000.00 of aid to Ukraine, within weeks of cutting Food Stamps, Veteran's Benefits and an extension of Unemployment Insurance payments.
We have a failing infrastructure and starving children.
I would like to know how this can be rationalized by anybody with the power to do such a thing.
Frankly, I am one pissed off Veteran.
