Unfortunately, May 15, 2013, the Ecological Campground at Maho Bay on the beautiful island of St. John is having to close down.
To anybody fortunate enough to have stayed there, treasure those memories.
To those who have not had the good fortune to, "live in the tree-houses" of Maho Bay and experience the ecological wonder that was/is Maho Bay Campgrounds, your time has probably run out.
However, there is a positive to this closing and I wish to share it with the community and solicit ideas about taking advantage of this possible windfall.
